HM King honours brave BDF officers, servicemen

Manama, Feb. 7 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, received at the Sakhir Air Base today, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Royal Guard Commander Brigadier-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, a number of BDF officers and servicemen who returned to the kingdom after assuming their sacred national duty bravely in brotherly Yemen within the Arab Coalition. HM the King conferred appreciation medals on the brave officers and personnel of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) in appreciation for their success in assuming their patriotic duties to the fullest. HM King Hamad lauded BDF personnel's heroism, high morale and success in carrying out all the tasks assigned to them. HM the King, the Supreme Commander, voiced deep pride in the BDF servicemen, valuing highly BDF's continuous participation in the "Operation Decisive Storm" and the "Operation Restoring Hope" within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to support the right and legitimacy in Yemen, and safeguard Arab countries
