HM King Hamad receives new ambassadors

Manama, Nov11(BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has today received the credentials of five newly-appointed ambassadors to the Kingdom of Bahrain. During a special ceremony held at Al-Sakhir Palace, HM the King received the credentials of Ambassadors Mr. Kiyosh Asako, of Japan, Mr. Vazoumana Toure, of Ivory Coast, Mr. Manuel Maria Carvalho, of Portugal, Mr. So Chang Sik, of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and Mr. Ole Frus Madsen, of Denmark. HM the King welcomed the new envoys, and lauded the good bilateral relations bonding the Kingdom of Bahrain and their friendly countries, hailing steadily-growing ties in all fields.HM King Hamad wished the new ambassadors every success in assuming their diplomatic duties in order to consolidate their countries' friendship and cooperation relations with the kingdom of Bahrain. He reiterated Bahrain's keen interest in establishing good relations and building bridges of cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries in all fields for the sake of all peoples. The new ambassadors conveyed to HM the King greetings from their countries' leaders, and wishes of continuous good health and happiness to HM and of further progress and prosperity for Bahrain. They also commended the strong relations bonding their countries with the kingdom in various fields. Royal Court Minister, Foreign Minister, Royal Court Follow-up Minister, Adviser to HM the King for Diplomatic Affairs and Chief of the Royal Protocol attended the ceremony.
