HM the King, Egyptian president review bilateral relations

Manama, Oct. 30 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today visited the Kingdom’s distinguished guest, the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, at his residence here. They reviewed the solid long-standing Bahraini-Egyptian relations, and ways to bolster them in various fields, underscoring the importance of continuous consultation and coordination between the two countries for the best interests of their brotherly countries. HM King Hamad lauded President Al-Sisi’s brotherly visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, asserting that the visit reflects the depth and strength of the steadily progressing Bahraini-Egyptian relations. HM the King voiced pride in the historical leading role played by brotherly Egypt in serving the Arab and Islamic nations, unifying stances and enhancing joint Arab action, stressing that a strong Egypt is good for all Arab countries. The Egyptian President expressed sincere thanks and utmost appreciation to HM King Hamad for his role in strengthening and enhancing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s relations with his country. He valued highly Bahrain’s supportive stances towards Egypt and its people, wishing the kingdom further progress and prosperity, under HM the King’s leadership. HM King Hamad and President Al-Sisi reviewed the latest regional and global developments, and the need to coordinate stances on them. They also discussed issues of common interest.
