HM King calls for nationwide funeral prayers for martyrs

Manama, Sept. 10 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued a Royal directive for the performance of nationwide funeral prayers in absentia for the souls of Bahrain's martyrs in mosques all over the Kingdom following the Friday prayers. Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa said that both endowment directorates have been instructed to perform the absentee funeral prayers for the souls of the martyrs. The Friday sermons will focus on the significance, essence and virtues of defending religion and the homeland and the rewards for martyrs, the minister added as he reaffirmed the unified rallying of Bahrainis around their leadership against any interference or assaults.
