HM King: BDF pride of nation

Manama, Sept. 15 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa paid a visit today to BDF headquarters where he was welcomed by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and senior officers. HM the King paid tribute to the BDF troops who are fighting courageously in Ma' rib, Yemen, alongside their brethren from the Saudi and UAE armed forces, within the Arab coalition, to defend legitimacy in Yemen, the right, their nations' sovereignty, citizens' security and the future of the posterity. He stressed that standing one rank with the brethren is a strong proof of solid fraternal unity between the GCC countries. HM the King listened to a briefing on participation of the BDF troops in Operation Restoring Hope, praising their efforts in fulfilling their sacred duty with high morale and strong will which, he said, asserts that BDF is a source of pride and the bulwark of the nation. HM King Hamad gave his directives to the audience, paying homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their life for the nation and praying to Allah Almighty to rest their souls in eternal peace and paradise. He also wished the injured a speedy recovery and every success to the BDF personnel.
