HM King: Bahrain's progress, modernisation drive irreversible

Manama, Dec.22 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today gave directives to speed up the disposition of cases pending in the courts of Bahrain. He reiterated support to the judicial branch, stressing keenness on bolstering the independence of the judiciary and providing qualified staff. Receiving at Al-Sakhir Palace new judges at the High Civil Court of Appeal who took their oath before him, HM the King underscored the pivotal role of the judicial authority in protecting rights and consolidating social security and stability. HM the King congratulated the judges on their appointment, wishing them every success in assuming their duties to further bolster the principle of right, justice and the rule of the law. He stressed firm resolve to continue the march of development unabated and build the modern state of Bahrain, describing the process as being continuous and irreversible. He commended the dedicated efforts of all members of the judiciary to achieve justice and ensure the rights of citizens in accordance with the law. "Our national march will continue unabated, God Willing", HM the King, commending the cooperation between the three branches of government to ensure further achievements in all fields.
