HM King of Bahrain lauds educational strides

Manama, Dec.3 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has today received, at Al-Safriya Palace, Bahraini teachers, winners of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Award for Best Gulf Teacher.
The laureates are Amina Nabeel Al-Romaihi (Al-Noor Secondary Girls’ School); Munira Khalid Alzayani and Soumaya Hassan Yaqoot (Arad Primary Girls’ School) and Wafa Salem Rajab (Muharraq Primary Girls’ School).
HM the King congratulated the laureates who won the prestigious award which was launched by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander. He underscored the importance of the award as a catalyst to stimulate creativity and excellence in the Gulf educational field, hailing Bahrainis’ keenness on achieving outstanding results.
"A win for citizens is a win for the Kingdom of Bahrain", said HM the King, lauding Bahrain’s educational achievements in the regional and international arenas. He commended the strenuous efforts exerted by the Ministry of Education to enhance the standard of all educational stages so as to foster the spirit of citizenship among students so as to serve their nation and society and participate in the national development march.
Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi expressed deepest thanks and appreciation to HM the King, hailing royal keenness on supporting the educational system, which helped yield honourable results and outstanding achievements. He reiterated the ministry’s resolve to spare no effort to achieve all that contributes to enhance the standard of education and implement the royal directives to upgrade services and develop the teaching curricula.
