High prospect of discovering new uranium deposits in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan, Astana, 18 April / Trend D.Mukhtarov / The prospect of discovering new uranium deposits in Kazakhstan is high, Managing Director for Geology at the Kazgeology National Geological Prospecting Company Berikbol Khamzin said on Wednesday. "Despite the fact that Kazakhstan has the world's largest reserves of uranium ore, which will be sufficient for 100 years, the country should expand the uranium resource base," said Khamzin, speaking at the Third mining Forum MINEX in Astana. "The prospect of discovering uranium deposits in Kazakhstan is quite high, especially in the Shu-Sarysui and North-Kazakh uranium ore provinces," said Khamzin. Do you have any feedback?
