Tunis, January 17 (QNA) - HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Silatech this evening visited a number of projects aimed at creating job opportunities for young people of Tunisia which has the support and funding from the Silatech through its partners in the local investment in Tunisia. In this context, HH Sheikha Moza visited the University of Engineering and Technology where she met with the administrative and teaching staff and the number of students, and was briefed about the University, its disciplines, programmes in addition to its close cooperation with the business community, which produced a high rate of graduate employment. It is noteworthy that the University of Engineering and Technology is creating jobs in the private sector to students before graduation through training with a view to preparing them to engage in the labor market after graduation. The University has contributed to providing more than 150 jobs for its graduates. HH Sheikha Moza also visited the International Clinic (Hannibal ) where she was briefed on the various sections of the clinic including heart disease, Radiology, Gynecology, paediatrics and tumors departments. Given the importance of the medical sector in the labor service and the need to provide a large possible number of jobs for youth employment, Silatech, through its local partner (Tuninvest) supports the Hospital expansion projects as well as future projects that will provide products and services for the health sector.(QNA)
