HH Sheikha Moza Participates in Ministerial Meetings on "Education for All" Initiative

Doha, April 20 (QNA) - HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser took part in the bilateral meetings of ministers of education and finance to discuss issues related to the "Education for All" initiative at the World Bank headquarters in Washington. The meetings reviewed the obstacles to the provision of quality education for children in eight countries: Nigeria, Haiti, Yemen, Democratic Republic of Congo, India, South Sudan, Ethiopia and Bangladesh, which constitute more than 50% of children not enrolled in schools in the world. HH Sheikha Moza Sheikha Moza discussed her vision about all fundamentals needed to enable 61 million children deprived of their basic right to education and school enrollment. Ministers from eight countries as well as United Nations agencies and other donor institutions participated the meeting to determine all what is required to promote the "Education for All" movement.
