HH Qatar the Emir Arrives in Cairo

Cairo, August 11 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani arrived here this evening on a visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt. Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Hisham Kandil, Qatari Ambassador in Cairo and the embassy staff led well-wishers to welcome HH the Emir and his accompanying delegation upon arrival at Cairo International Airport. HH the Emir is accompanied by an official delegation comprising HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al-Thani and a number of Their Excellencies ministers. HH the Emir gave a statement upon arrival in Cairo in which he expressed pleasure over meeting with President Dr. Mohamed Morsy which comes in the context of keenness on consultations and exchange of views on regional and international developments, matters of mutual concern and means of bolstering the close fraternal relations between "our two countries in various fields". HH the Emir said it gives me pleasure on the occasion to convey to "my brother the president and the brotherly Egyptian people greetings of the Qatari people and their wishes of further glory, progress and prosperity to the Egyptian people". "We pray to the Almighty Allah to guide our steps and help us all to the good of our countries and our Arab and Islamic nations," HH the Emir said.(QNA)
