HH the Heir Apparent Welcomes Saudi Crown Prince

Doha , March 04 (QNA) - HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani led well-wishers to welcome Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia HRH Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud upon his arrival and the accompanying delegation at Doha International Airport this afternoon on a two-day official visit to Qatar during which he will lead the kingdom's delegation to the fourth meeting of the Qatari-Saudi Joint Council Coordination Council.    HRH the Saudi Crown Prince was also welcomed by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani and a number of Their Excellencies ministers. HRH Prince Salman said in a press statement that he was happy to arrive in Qatar. He also conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Holy Two Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia to HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the people and government of Qatar, wishing them further progress and prosperity. The visit is part of a joint interest in advancing bilateral relations and to discuss a number of issues in regional and international affairs. Prince Salman said that he looked forward to a fruitful Joint Qatari-Saudi Coordination Council. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the government of Qatar for their good reception, which HRH Prince Salman said reflected the strength of bilateral ties.
