HH the Heir Apparent Attends Sudanese-Qatari Economic Forum Closing Session

Khartoum, December 04 (QNA) - HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani attended the closing session of the 3rd Sudanese-Qatari Economic Forum held at the Friendship Hall in Sudanese Capital Khartoum this evening under the theme: 'Towards Strategic Partnership'. The session started with a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an followed by speeches which reviewed areas of cooperation between the two brotherly countries and the the outcome of the 3rd Sudanese-Qatari Economic Forum. Afterwards HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Sudanese First Vice President Ali Othman Mohamed Taha witnessed the signing of six bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding. They included an agreement for the establishment a joint Sudanese-Qatar business council, a memorandum of understanding in the field of mining between the Sudanese Ministry of Minerals and Qatar Mining Company, an agreement on cooperation in banking between the Bank of Khartoum and Al-Fardan Exchange Company, a commercial agency contract between Ajyal Medical Company and Qatar Pharma, minutes of a meeting between the Ministry of Agriculture and Hassad Company and a memorandum of understanding between the Committee in charge of public sector facilities and Hassad agricultural company.(QNA
