HH the Heir Apparent Arrives in Libya

Tripoli, July 17 (QNA) - HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived this afternoon in Tripoli on a one-day official visit to Libya. HE Mustafa Abdul Jalil, Chairman of the National Transitional Council (NTC) led the well-wishers to welcome HH the Heir Apparent and the accompanying delegation at Tripoli International Airport. HH the Heir Apparent was also welcomed upon arrival by a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Jassim Al-Thani, Qatar's Ambassador to Libya along with Their Excellencies the Arab ambassadors accredited to Libya and members of the Qatari Embassy. Upon arrival to Libya, HH the Heir Apparent expressed pleasure to visit Libya and conveyed greetings of HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar and the Qatari people to HE Mustafa Abdul Jalil and the Libyan people wishing Libya further progress and prosperity. HH the Heir Apparent also congratulated the Libyan people on the success of the legislatives elections that took place in an atmosphere of freedom, transparency and integrity, reaffirming Qatar's commitment to support the Libyan people in building their modern state and promote the deep-rooted brotherly bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields.
