HH the Emir of Qatar Meets UN Chief

Vienna, February 27 (QNA) - HH the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and HER Highness Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser met before noon on Wednesday with Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon on the sidelines of the 5th Global Forum of The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), currently in progress at Hofburg palace in Vienna. During the meeting, they discussed a set of topics tabled on the agenda of the UNAOC and other issues of mutual concern. The meeting was attended by HE the High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations Nasser bin Abdul Aziz Al Nasr who is also the former President of the UN General Assembly and Jorge Sampaio, the UN High Representative for the UN Alliance of Civilizations.
