HH the Emir of Qatar Leaves Cairo after Attending Part of the 12th Islamic Summit

Doha, February 06 (QNA) - HH the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani ,left Cairo on Wednesday afternoon after attending part of the 12th session of the Islamic Summit Conference, currently in progress in the Egyptian capital. HH the Emir and the official accompanying delegation were seen off upon their departure at Cairo International Airport were Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation Wael Al-Ma'adawi, HE Qatar's Ambassador to Egypt Saif Muqaddam Al-Buainein who is also his country's permanent delegate to the Arab League and the embassy staff together with a number of senior Egyptian officials. Upon his departure, HH the Emir sent a cable of thanks to Egyptian President Dr. Mohamed Morsi in which he expressed thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome and good hospitality accorded to His Highness and the official accompanying delegation during the summit. HH the Emir was accompanied to the 12th Islamic Summit by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani and a high-level official delegation. (QNA)
