HH the Emir Issues Decrees

Doha, June 03 (QNA) -- HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani issued today Emiri Decree No (22) of 2013, ratifying an agreement between governments of the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the Cooperation in Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and precursor chemicals and their smuggling, signed in Riyadh on 1 / 3/2011. HH the Emir issued Emiri Decree No. (23) of 2013 ratifying the Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the industrial field between Governments of the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, signed in Doha on 22/2/2010. HH the Emir issued Emiri Decree No (24) ofr 2013 ratifying an agraeement on diplomatic and consular cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its executive annex, signed in Doha on 22/2/2010. HH the Emir also issued Emiri Decree No. (25) of 2013 ratifying an agreement on the exemption of holders of diplomatic, service and special passports from visa requirements between Government of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Italy, signed in Rome on 16/4/2012. HH the Emir issued Emiri Decree No. (26) for 2013 ratifying a Protocol amending some provisions of an agreement between Governments of the State of Qatar and Malaysia on the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to income tax, signed in Putrajaya on 16/2/2011. The decrees shall be implemented from the date of issue and are to be published in the Official Gazette.(QNA)
