HH the Emir Issues Decision Re-strutting Qatar Investment Authority

Doha, July 02 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued today Emiri decision No. 74 of 2013 re-structuring the Board of Directors of Qatar Investment Authority under the chairmanship of HH the Emir. According to the decision membership of the board will be as follows: 1- HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Vice-Chairman 2 - HE Ali Sharif Al Emadi : member 3 - HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani: member 4 - HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud Al Thani: member 5 - HE Dr. Hussein Ali Al-Abdullah :member The decision also stipulates that the Board membership duration shall be three years, renewable for another similar period or other similar periods. The Emiri decision annulled the abovementioned Emiri decision No. 13 of 2012 and annulled any provision contravening its rules. The decision shall go into effect from the date of issue and is to be published in the official gazette.(QNA)
