HH Deputy Premier receives first Deputy Speaker

Manama, Sept. 10 (BNA): His Highness Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received first Deputy Speaker Ali Abdullah Al Aradi, affirming the vital key role of the Council of Representatives in regulation, monitoring and boost Bahrain's democratic process as part of His Majesty the King's reforms. His Highness reiterated government policy of constant communications with Members of Parliament (MPs) as part of full cooperation existing between the legislative and executive bodies The government pays heed to all suggestions, opinions and ideas tabled by MPs in the interest of the public, His Highness emphasized. He commended the effective role of and contributions of MPs in preservation of national accomplishments and boosting the spirit of citizenship and national unity. MP Ali Al Aradi expressed gratitude to His Highness for his reception and supportive stances with the Council of Representatives which attests to the government's keenness on the Council's exercising its whole constitutional powers and communication and listening to MPs.
