Heroic Qatari child hosted by Child's Wish Society

Manama, Dec. 24 (BNA): Child's Wish Society organised a gathering for young children from the Kingdom of Bahrain, themed "Meeting of the Heroes", to which the Society hosted the heroic Qatari child, Ghanim Al-Miftah. Al-Miftah narrated to them his success story culminating in winning five golden medallions in swimming and creating his own business establishment. Al Miftah has won five golden and overcome his illness. The event was aimed to provide interactive environment for all participants to meet similar heroic children under one roof who have overcome illness or special needs to exchange experiences and hear their success stories. The society's chairperson, Manal Al Awadhi, said there are numerous intuitive examples all over the globe of persons who challenged themselves, overcame their handicaps and created more value in their life and who were effective in their own communities, alluding to heroic Ghanim Al-Mifath with whom the society had arranged for a meeting with like-minded Bahraini children to share their own experiences and stories. During the meeting, the children participated in various entertainment programmes. The society expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the successful event for their continuous support to the society and engaging with children in their activities.
