Heritage Festival extended to May 2

Manama, Apr.28 (BNA): Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) has extended the annual heritage festival until Saturday due to the large turnout of visitors. The number of people who visited the 23rd edition of the annual event exceeded 30,000 over the past six days. The festival is being held at the Heritage Festival, at the vicinity of Arad Ford under the theme "Our Heritage, Our Wealth". The organisers have lined up a rich programme which features workshops, musical concerts, popular games and stories, handicrafts and traditional dishes. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa had deputised His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Chairman of the Isa bin Salman Charity Endowment Board of Trustees, to open the festival on April 22.
