Health workshop concludes

Manama, Nov.18 (BNA): A workshop shedding light on challenging confronting the pharmaceutical sector concluded today. Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Aisha Mubarak Bu’unq patronized the event under the theme "National Strategy to reduce pharmaceutical spending". Addressing the opening session, Dr. Bu’unq outlined the ministry’s initiatives and projects to enhance the quality of medical services and develop the health and pharmaceutical sectors to meet international standards and attract investments. Patronising the final session, she presented 35 participants with certificates and honoured the speakers who conducted the workshop, as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO) consultants.
