Health minister receives US ambassador

Manama, Jan. 14 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh commended the deep-fathomed Bahrain-US friendship ties. The minister made her remark as she received the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain, William V. Roebuck, wishing him all success in his diplomatic mission that contributes to bolstering the cooperation ties between the two countries and peoples in all fields. The meeting discussed several topics of mutual interest as well as key global challenges related to the health sector. The two sides also reviewed the ministry's efforts in advancement of the health services provided to citizens and residents in the kingdom besides the tendency to attract international medical expertise to improve and develop the standard of efficacy of these services.
