Health minister receives UK deputy ambassador

Manama, Feb. 3 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh received the Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Maqbool Ali, and the Director of Programmes in the British Embassy, Heba Al Qudwa Al Khalfaoui. They discussed the bilateral cooperation in the health sector, noting the historic bilateral friendship ties, the fruitful cooperation on medical training, field visits by British specialists and the exchange of medical expertise. They also discussed various topics of mutual interest and ways of availing from British expertise in the health sector. The deputy ambassador commended the bilateral relations, expressing readiness to provide all assistance that contributes to upgrading the standard of health services. The minister expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the British deputy ambassador to Bahrain, wishing him all success in his duties in boosting the bilateral cooperation ties.
