Head of Security Council of Kyrgyzstan - on abolition of CSTO exercises: There is no conspiracy against Russia and Tajikistan

Kyrgyzstan has no conspiracy against Russia and Tajikistan, Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Imankulov told during a round table "Cooperation of the Central Asian countries in ensuring security in the region and the role of the CSTO", commenting on the cancellation of the exercises within the framework of the CSTO in the Kyrgyz Republic, Media Headquarters of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. He said that the exercises have been canceled temporarily. “We have postponed them to a later date. Preparation for them was 99.9%. It provides a full guarantee against terrorist threats and meets the interests of the national security of our country,” Imankulov said. He said that the CSTO leadership was sympathetic to the decision of Kyrgyzstan to postpone the October exercises in Issyk-Kul.
