HE the Qatar Prime Minister Opens Diabetes Treatment National Centre

Doha, July 24 (QNA) - HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani on Wednesday morning inaugurated at Hamad General Hospital (HGH) the National Centre for Diabetes Treatment. HE the Prime Minister toured the new centre which is considered a model of multidisciplinary care centre and was briefed on the treatment services it provides to the patients in addition to the research teams specialized in conducting treatment and prevention strategies of diabetes and its side effects. HE Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani also paid an inspection tour of some HGH facilities and qot acquainted with the modus- operandi there. He then visited the Supreme Council of Health (SCH)'s speical office at Women's Hospital and launched the new birth registeration service and the e-issue of birth certificates where the birth certificate would be easily handed out and delivered within '60' minutes by hospitals of both the the public and private sectors. HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior was escorted during the tour by HE Public Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Bin Khalid Al-Qahtani , Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Dr. Hanan Al Kuwari and a number of other senior officials of the health sector.
