HE the Qatar Deputy Prime Minister Meets with President of Darfur Regional Authority

Doha, February 05 (QNA) - HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud met here on Tuesday with President of Darfur Regional Authority Tijani Sese Mohammed, who is currently visiting Doha. Tijani informed HE Al Mahmoud of the outcomes of the President of Darfur's Asian tour that included China, Korea and Japan. The tour was part of the preparation for the International conference on reconstruction and Development of Darfur. They also discussed progress made so far in the implementation of the Doha document for peace and the positive developments taking place in negotiations between the Sudanese Government and the Justice and Equality Movement. A number of officials at the general secretariat of the cabinet attended the meeting. (QNA)
