HE Qatar Chief of Staff Meets UK Defense Secretary, Chief of Staff

London, January 11 (QNA) - Defense Secretary Philip Hammond conferred here today with HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Major General Hamad bin Ali Al-Attiyah, who is on a visit to the United Kingdom. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between Qatar and the United Kingdom, particularly in military affairs. Chief of the Defense Staff General Sir David Richards also met HE Major General Hamad bin Ali Al-Attiyah and they discussed aspects of cooperation between both countries, especially in military fields. The meetings were attended by the Defense Attache Brigadier Mohamed Hamad Al-Nuaimi and a number of senior officers of the armed forces. (QNA)
