HE Deputy Prime Minister Meets US Official

Doha, May 28 (QNA) - HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud met here Monday with US Senior Advisor on Darfur Dane Smith. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the peace process in Darfur and issues on the agenda of the third meeting of the Follow-Up Committee for the implementation of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur, currently in session in Doha, as well as preparations for the International Conference for Darfur Reconstruction and Development, to be held in Doha.
