HE Al Attiyah Proposes Holding the Connet Arab World Summit Once Every Two Years

Doha, March 06 (QNA) -HE Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Attiyah has highlighted the convening of the connect arab world summit 2012 which HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani inaugurated here earlier Tuesday and proposed such a summit be convened once every two years to discuss the latest developments reached by the current and following summits. '' The conference is highly significant and Qatar is a leading country to call for such a first arab summit for communications and information technology in the region'', said HE Al Attiyah in an exclusive statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) today. Elaborating Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority said ,'' Such summit has been for long missing in the arab world ... and stressed that convening it in doha clearly reflects Qatar's due interest to update and advance the communications and information technology sector which he described as very important.(QNA)
