Hariri Plans To Visit Iraq After Forming The Two Governments

BAGHDAD (NINA) - Lebanese designated Prime Minister, Saad al-Hariri has announced his intention to visit Iraq after the formation of the two countries' governments to discuss new horizons that support bilateral relations and serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
"Jaafari met with Lebanese designated Prime Minister, Saad Hariri in the capital Beirut and discussed bilateral relations and means of developing them to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries and discussed efforts to accelerate the formation of the two governments in Iraq and Lebanon, and the overall developments in the Arab, regional and international arena. "
During the meeting, Hariri stressed his country's keenness to strengthen cooperation with Iraq in various fields, hoping to work on establishing a joint economic council that will contribute to boosting economic relations between the two countries during the coming period.
It is mentioned that Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari arrived in Beirut on Tuesday for a three-day official visit, during which he met with Lebanese President Michel Aoun at the Baabda Palace and discussed relations between the two countries and means of strengthening them./ End
