Hanadi Al Darwish Named President of Visual Arts at the Ministry of Culture

Doha, April 10 (QNA) - The Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage, HE Dr. Hamad bin Abdul Aziz Al Kuwari, has issued a decision appointing Fine Arts Artist Hanadi Al-Darwish as a President of the Ministry's Department of Visual Arts. Before joining the Ministry, Hanadi Al-Darwish was Chair of Board of Directions of the Girl Creativity Center for 5 years. Previously an art teacher and children's book designer, for nearly 10 years, she is also member at Qatar's Fine Arts Society since 1992 and has also participated in various art events not only in Qatar but also overseas.
