GWS to launch global heritage programme

Manama, Oct. 27 (BNA): The Good Word Society (GWS) said it host the second Global Heritage Revitalisation Programme in collaboration with the UNESCO-affiliated International Volunteering Coordinative Panel from November 13 to 23 with participation of youth organisations from 20 countries from the various continents. The organising panel has been formed, chaired by the Head of Bahrain International Centre for Volunteers in the Society, Mohammed Bu Kamal. The subcommittees and the duties of each subcommittee have also been defined. The chairman of GWS, Hassan Bu Hazza', said the programme will contribute in the provision of opportunities for international volunteering to Bahraini youths and training them on entrepreneurship potentials suitable for Bahrain's economic environment, skills honing and personality development, and boosting visits of foreign tourists and also for micro-projects to flourish in direct/indirect relation with the centre's programmes.
