Gulf Air Supports Bahraini Bowling Star

Manama, June 08 (BNA): Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, recently signed a sponsorship agreement with international Bahraini bowling star Mohammed Janahi which sees the airline facilitating his travel arrangements when representing the Kingdom in international bowling events. Janahi, ranked 4th in Asia, currently holds 3 international titles, 32 local and regional titles and 21 Asia & GCC medals. Alongside his international bowling tournaments, Janahi is a member of the official Gulf Air bowling team representing the airline in local industrial leagues. Within Gulf Air, the professional bowler is also active in teaching the airline’s staff and their children various bowling techniques and establishing inter-departmental bowling competitions. As national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Gulf Air provides complimentary additional baggage allowance for national athletes traveling with their sports equipment. The airline has also recently set up darts and cricket teams that compete nationally and regionally – representing both the national carrier and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
