The General Secretary of Parliament Discusses With Azerbaijani Ambassador A Number Of Issues Of Common Interest

Baghdad / NINA / -The Secretary General of Parliament, Sirwan Abdullah Sirini, discussed with the Azerbaijani Ambassador in Baghdad Naseer Mamdouf a number of issues of common interest between the two sides. A statement from the Office of the Secretary-General of the House of Representatives that the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / received a copy of it, stated: "The two sides discussed during the meeting a number of issues of common interest, especially in the supervisory and legislative fields, exchange of experiences, strengthening and developing bilateral relations and coordination in communication and continuing in mutual meetings." The Secretary-General congratulated the ambassador on the agreement that led to the cessation of military operations between the republics of Azerbaijan and Armenia, welcoming this step, which ended the conflict between the two countries, stopped the bloodshed and created an atmosphere of peace.
