GCC Secretary General denounces Hizbollah Secretary General's statements

Riyadh, Jan. 10 (BNA)-- GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani has strongly denounced the statements of Hizbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah concerning the situation in Bahrain. He considered the statements as an explicit incitement of violence to create a sectarian schism and sow divide among the Bahraini people. The GCC Secretary General said Nasrallah, in his recent statement, has gone beyond interfering in Bahrain's internal affairs to try desperately to shake the kingdom' s civil peace and threaten its security and stability. Dr. Al Zayani lauded awareness of the Bahraini people and keenness to promote their development achievements brought about under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He stressed that interrogating any Bahraini citizen by the public prosecution is a purely Bahraini affair and Hassan Nasrallah or anyone else, who do not want any good to Bahrain, has no right to interfere in it.
