GCC joint action development stressed

Manama, Dec 9 (BNA): Shura Council expressed optimism that GCC leaders, participating in the 36th GCC Summit, to reach decisions to support the GCC joint action and to contribute to the achievement of unity and integration to reach the desired Gulf Union. This came in the Shura statement issued marking the participation of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in the 36th GCC Summit being held in Riyadh. The statement pointed out the acute visions of HM the King and Gulf leaders, which reflect the aspirations of the GCC people towards the development of the GCC joint action and achieving security and stability of the GCC countries. The statement lauded the Gulf leaders' unbounded support for GCC legislative councils to be an active partner in setting up policies to promote the GCC march. It wished the GCC summit success to meet the ambitions of GCC people.
