GCC Health Ministers Committee holds meeting

Manama , Oct 22 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al-Saleh participated in the second GCC Health Ministers Committee meeting held in Doha, Qatar on 19-20 October 2015. The meeting discussed key health issues, including coordinating GCC efforts in dealing with cases of emergencies in respect of pharmaceuticals, vaccines, serums, medical supplies and equality among GCC citizens in access to health services. The meeting also discussed unifying the GCC states' stances in international health forums, as well as establishing health cooperation with Jordan, Morocco and Turkey. The health ministerial committee agreed to hold its third meeting in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2016 following the health undersecretaries committee preparatory meeting.
