GCC chief receives Al-Arabiya correspondent

Manama, Nov.19 (BNA): Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani received Al-Arabiya TV Channel correspondent Bahraini Mohammed Al-Arab who presented a copy of his book "Operation 707" which documents the success of the security forces in Bahrain in a busting a drug ring. Dr. Al-Zayani commended the efforts of the writer and stressed the importance of the book which includes documented details on drug smuggling networks, highlighting the need to bolster security awareness and shed light on combating crimes. The writer had already prepared a documentary programme on "Operation 707", which was broadcast on Al-Arabiya TV Channel. He won awards in three Arab festivals for documentary films.
