GCC Chief hails Bahrain’s security alertness

New York, Oct.1 (BNA): Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani commended Bahrain’s security agencies which busted a terror cell and uncovered a big cache of weapons, explosives and bomb-making materials in a house in Nuwaidrat village. He strongly condemned the terrorist groups as well as the parties that aid and abet them, denouncing their evil intentions and criminal designs to subvert Bahrain’s security and stability and terrorise innocent people in coordination with foreign-based terror groups. Dr. Al-Zayani stressed the firm stance of the GCC member states in support of the security measures taken by the authorities in Bahrain to combat terrorists, masterminds and instigators to preserve national security and stability.
