France Sends 18 Tons Of Humanitarian And Essential Aids To The Kurds

BAGHDAD / NINA / France announced its intention to increase its humanitarian assistance to the Kurds to ease the difficult living conditions experienced by civilians there. The French Foreign Ministry said, in a press statement that "the French government would send 18 tons of humanitarian aid to Iraq in the coming days, containing one ton of medicines and 17 tons of basic necessities." The statement added that "France has already sent in August (58 tons of medical and basic aid) to northern Iraq and has also sent weapons to Kurdish Peshmerga fighters to help them in fighting terrorist gangs of the Islamic State."/ End
