Foreign trade turnover of goods and services increase in all EAEU states

Bishkek, Aug. 11, 2022. /Kabar/. According to the balance of payments data, the foreign trade turnover of goods and services in the 1st quarter of 2022 compared to the 1st quarter of 2021 increased in all member states, the EEC reported. The ratio of foreign trade turnover to GDP ranged from 62% in Russia to 147% in Kyrgyzstan. The positive balance of trade in goods and services in Russia doubled. For all categories of investments in Armenia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, there was a negative balance, which indicates an influx of investments into the countries, in Kazakhstan - a positive balance. In terms of direct investment, the most significant changes occurred in Russia, where flows into and out of the country increased significantly.
