Foreign Ministry Undersecretary meets OPCW Director General

The Hague, Dec. 2 (BNA): Foreign Ministry Undersecretary and Head of the National Committee for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Ambassador Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah met in the Hague today with Director-General of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Ahmet Uzümcü and the OPCW Director of International Cooperation. During the meeting held on the sidelines of the 20th Session of the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague, aspects of cooperation between Bahrain and the organisation were discussed. The meeting agreed to provide the Kingdom with technical assistance and capacity building in the field of safety and prevention from chemicals.
