Foreign Ministry strongly condemns terrorist attack in Chad

Manama, Dec. 8 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a market place in the island of Koulfoua in the Chadian Lake that killed scores of innocent people and left many others injured. In a statement, the Ministry extended its condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to the wounded of this attack that contradicts all divine laws, ethical and humane values. "While the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with Chad on the necessary measures it takes to bolster security and stability on its territory, it renews its firm position which rejects terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and whatever the motives and justifications, and the party that stands behind and finance them," the statement added. The ministry re-affirmed the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain to any efforts to eradicate all extremist groups and terrorist organisations to ensure the eradication of terrorism from its grass roots and rid the world from its evils.
