Foreign Ministry farewells Philippines' Ambassador

Manama, Mar. 29 -- (BNA): A farewell ceremony was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Sahid S. Glang. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah praised the outgoing ambassador’s outstanding efforts during his tenure in the Kingdom of Bahrain and which contributed to the development of bilateral relations between the two countries on various levels. The ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Foreign Ministry's Undersecretary and all the officials of the Kingdom of Bahrain for providing him every possible support to perform his duties, wishing Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity. On this occasion, the Undersecretary presented Ambassador Glang with a commemorative gift, wishing him all success. (IY)
