Foreign minister, UK counterpart discuss bilateral relations

Manama, Jan. 30 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received a telephone call from U.K. Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Philip Hammond. They reviewed prospects of the distinguished long-standing relations between the two friendly Kingdoms and peoples at all levels. They also discussed ways to coordinate stances vis-à-vis regional and global issues to underpin regional security and stability and help the region confront the various challenges it is going through, topped by terrorism of all forms. The conversation also touched on the latest developments in the region and issues of common concern.
