Foreign Minister receives Russian Ambassador's credentials

Manama, Mar. 23 -- (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, today received in his office copies of credentials of Vagif Garaev, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the audience, the Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed Ambassador Vagif Garaev and expressed pride and appreciation of the close bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and their progress in all fields. He also affirmed keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to propel bilateral cooperation ties to broader levels, wishing the Ambassador success in his new mission to serve the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
