Foreign minister receives former Palestinian minister

Manama, Oct. 20 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received here today the former Palestinian Minister of Information, Nabil Amr, and discussed with him the latest developments and events taking place in the Palestinian territories, as well as Arab and international efforts to stop the continuous Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. The Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s firm support to the efforts by the Palestinian people to achieve their complete legitimate rights and establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, urging the international community to do more to stop the violations committed by the Israeli occupation soldiers and settlers against the Palestinian people and against the Al Aqsa Mosque. Nabil Amr expressed his appreciation to the Kingdom of Bahrain's stance in support of the Palestinian issue as well as the Kingdom’s leadership's support to the Palestinian people in their just and legitimate efforts.
