Foreign Minister, Minister Of State For Middle East Affairs Discuss Strengthening Partnership And Cooperation Between Iraq And The UK

Baghdad / NINA /- Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein met with Minister of State for Middle East and North Africa Affairs James Cleverly, at the headquarters of the British Foreign Ministry, to discuss the historical relations between the two friendly countries and to discuss a number of files and important issues of interest to the two countries. The minister, according to a statement by the ministry, which the National Iraqi News Agency NINA received a copy of it, reviewed the priorities for economic reform that the Iraqi government intends to implement during the next phase, also presented the most important security challenges facing Iraq and the region. Hussein stressed the importance of the UK’s contribution to supporting the Iraqi government's plan to rebuild the infrastructure, especially in the liberated areas, which would contribute greatly to the return of the displaced to their areas.
