Foreign Minister meets US Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman

Washington, Nov.20 (BNA): Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa met U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker and other senators as part of his official visit to the United States of America. The minister reviewed with the Senators decades-long joint cooperation between Bahrain and the US, stressing the Kingdom’s keenness on bolstering bilateral relations in all fields. He commended the serious drive of the US Senate to deal with the regional issues and contribute to settling crises and solving problems in the region. The current developments unfolding in the region an issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
